Our UV Surf Beads change colour depending on the strength of the UV light.

They're white indoors, turn pastel coloured in weak sunlight and become brilliant glowing surf beads in bright sunlight. They fade back to white when there's no UV.

We think they're a good way to teach children about UV. They show that even on a cool or cloudy day there can be enough UV in the atmosphere to change the bead colour, and therefore enough to damage your skin.

Make sure you're covered up when they're glowing.

Beads are multicoloured (rainbow) or orange/blue.
